Follansbee is across the river and a short run north from Wellsburg, at the top end of Brooke County. We are licensed in West Virginia and we cover it.
The town itself is largely sewered. The septic work is back off Route 2 — up the runs and the hollows, where the houses sit on their own systems.

Properties back off the river road here tend to have older systems, often put in before anyone kept records of where the lid went. We open plenty of tanks whose owners inherited the house and never had a drawing of the system.
That is not a reason to leave it. A tank that is never emptied fills with sludge until solids start carrying out to the drainfield, and replacing a failed drainfield is an order of magnitude more expensive than a pump-out. Finding the lid is our problem, not yours.
We pump and clean residential and commercial tanks in Follansbee, look over the tank and baffles with the access open, and tell you what we find. Wellsburg and Weirton have their own pages if either is closer.
What we do
How it works
We work out where the access should be, confirm it by probing before any ground is broken, and uncover it by hand. Then the tank is emptied completely rather than skimmed.
The tank and its baffles get looked at while it is open — the only time anyone can — and then it is closed, backfilled and the turf put back.

Same trucks, same people, over a decade on both sides of the Ohio. You will get a straight answer about what the tank needs and what it does not.
If the tank has not been touched in three years or more, or drains have started to run slow, call before it turns into an emergency.
Call or text and we will find you a slot.
